Plans and pricing

Every plan is the full product — every vetting tool, every warning letter and status document, watchlist alerts and printable reports. The only differences are how many people use it and how you pay.

Monthly or annual?

Both plans include the same tools, data and access. The only differences are how long you subscribe and what it costs.

Why choose annual

  • Long-term monitoring and planning, if you run multiple trials. Use the Watchlist to keep the clinical investigators, CROs and IRBs you work with in one place and spot new FDA activity against any of them: a new inspection or warning letter since you last checked gets flagged. You can also opt in to a weekly email digest of new activity on your Watchlist.
  • Train new staff whenever they join. Members have the full GCP Guide: how serious findings are, how to read the record, how to weigh a clinical investigator’s findings, and the fundamentals of Good Clinical Practice. When someone joins or changes roles mid-year, the material is ready, alongside the free public guides. It does not replace formal regulatory or GCP training.
  • Follow BIMO inspection trends all year. Findings by problem area and Recent enforcement show what FDA is citing and acting on, for inspection preparation and for guiding your auditors throughout the year, not just for a month. Every source is checked daily, and the record is updated whenever new FDA information is available.
  • Every tool, the moment you need it. All Clinical Precedent tools are available immediately whenever a need comes up during the year.
  • Less per month. $1,999 a year works out to about $167 a month instead of $249, a saving of 33%.

Not sure yet? Start monthly and switch to annual any time from your account.

Questions about billing

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the billing page, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.

Are there refunds?

No, except where the law requires. The monthly plan is the low-commitment option: try a month before committing to a year.

What counts as a user?

One named person. Logins cannot be shared. A Team is one seat per person, administered by the purchaser, and a seat can be reassigned to another named person at any time.

Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?

Yes, for the annual Individual plan, Team plans and Organization plans. Use the form on this page. Invoices are net 30 and payable by card, ACH debit or bank transfer.

Is there a free trial?

No. The monthly plan is the way to try it, and the sample report shows exactly what a vet report looks like before you pay anything. The free status check answers one question without an account.

How do receipts and invoices work?

Stripe emails a receipt on every charge. Every invoice and receipt is also available any time from the billing page, along with your payment method and plan.

Does the price change?

We give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and it applies from your next renewal; you can cancel before it takes effect.

Clinical Precedent™ — clinical site intelligence from the FDA record Built from FDA Bioresearch Monitoring data. This release covers CDER and CBER inspections of clinical investigators, sponsors, sponsor-investigators, CROs and IRBs — drug and biologic clinical research. At this time, it does not cover bioequivalence (BEQ), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), postmarketing adverse drug experience (PADE) or REMS inspections, device trials (CDRH) or veterinary products (CVM). The service reports the record; it does not make recommendations or provide regulatory advice. It does not cover other factors in clinical investigator selection — therapeutic-area expertise, site capabilities, your own history with the clinical investigator, enrollment track record, and your qualification visit. Sources last checked 2026-10-13 — every source is checked daily; updated whenever new FDA information is available.
